Goodbye Enfermedades

The last 2 weeks were rough on me I'll say that. Being bed-ridden is posibly <----? (I cant spell in English anymore don't judge me) the most boring thing EVER. I didn't know why it was happening and I was just discouraged. The next thing I knew I was on my knees praying. We can tell our heavenly father anything we want and he will listen, he will give comfort, and we will feel the spirit. Its really an awesome feeling to know you're not alone in the world, even when you feel like you are.

Now I'm better though! It feels amazing to get outside and finally get back to what we were doing. True the work has slowed down because of the 2-week lull but we'll get it back up and running soon enough!

So the first day that I felt better (Friday) we cleaned the church with some of the members. Now at this church we have like a back patio type of thing, and one member was told us, "Elders, can you go out back and clean up the fallen mango's that have fallen from the neighbors tree?" And of course we went out back. To our surprise, there were about 700+ fallen mango's back there. The face the sister made was PRICELESS. After she looked at us and simply said, "I'm sorry my children" or "lo siento mis hijos" (sounds less weird in Spanish). Took us about an hour to clean up all these "extra" ripe mango's. All around it was a good time and we got to get to know some of the members better.

This was a good week! Oh also, I made an AWESOME cake. Dark chocolate cake with cookies and cream frosting. Id say that my mother taught me well, but her cakes are like 1,000,000x better than any cake like ever.

And HAPPY FATHERS DAY! I have the coolest dad ever! Hope you had a good one and ate some good food!!!

Have a good one!
😊
